Join the Othering & Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley for the 2026 Othering & Belonging Conference (O&B26), a gathering of community leaders, researchers, educators, artists, policymakers, and changemakers committed to building more inclusive and connected societies.
This immersive conference will explore strategies for strengthening relationships, bridging across differences, and creating systems where everyone has the opportunity to belong. Through interactive sessions, skills-building workshops, community conversations, and collaborative activities, attendees will engage in meaningful discussions around democracy, inclusion, and collective action.
The 2026 conference will feature three thematic tracks: The Power of Bridging, Belonging and Democracy in Action, and Structures & Systems for We the People, offering participants opportunities to learn, connect, and develop practical approaches for advancing belonging in their communities.
