AMCF Walks for NAMI Mercer County
Help us to spread the awareness and need to support the caregivers to those who struggle with mental health issues. Agnes McCarthy Charitable Foundation (AMCF) will be participating in three NAMI walks throughout our country - New Jersey, Nebraska, and San Diego - during the month of May's Mental Health Awareness Month. AMCF couldn't think of a more fitting way to support our nation's mental health community and reach them nationwide! We will be donating $500 grants to the three National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) chapters that we are walking with to help fund their free programs such as their Family to Family Courses which provides support to family members and caregivers to those with mental health issues. If you can walk with us, please arrive by 12:45 pm. When you get to the park, check in with our booth to put on your t-shirt and get ready to walk at 1pm!
AMCF is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has earned a Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency for fundraising. Charitable donations in any amount will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission to provide resources and funding to those who care for loved ones struggling with a mental health condition.
