Poria Mushroom on the ground
Description

Poria mushroom (Wolfiporia cocos) is a fungus. The spores, which store food for the fungus, are sometimes used to make medicine.

Poria mushroom contains chemicals that might reduce swelling and change immune function.

Poria mushroom has been used for memory, anxiety, fatigue, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. There is also no good evidence to support using poria mushroom for COVID-19.
