Sun Day Solar Fest
WHAT’S THE SUN DAY SOLAR FEST? It's a nationwide celebration (https://www.sunday.earth/) of clean energy progress—and a chance to stand up for the solar and wind power that's making our communities healthier, quieter, and more affordable. We will be embracing the energy of the sun to inspire, motivate, and educate today; BUILDING for all who inhabit the Earth a sustainable future.
As Bill McKibben (the noted environmentalist and author) said, “Americans have long thought of solar/wind as alternative energy, ‘the Whole Foods of energy—nice but pricey.’ It’s time to think of it as the Costco of energy: cheap, on the shelf, and available in bulk, ready to go.”
FREE AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY! This event is open to everyone and designed to be welcoming whether you're a clean energy expert or just now getting started to learn about solar and wind power, and battery storage. Plus, there will be fun, solar-related activities and entertainment for all ages.
