Publishing Process

 

KnoWEwell Publishing Guidelines

KnoWEwell uses rigorous measures to create and review content that is published on our platform. Our publishing objectives are to:  

  • Bridge the knowledge gap, raise the consciousness of the connections between unique personal lifestyles, environmental exposures, and the resulting impact on the health of individuals, humanity and our planet.  

  • Inspire hope and empower individuals with today’s health and well-being knowledge and “Regenrative Whole Health" and well-being approaches and therapies to help individuals raise healthy children and proactively prevent harm, address chronic diseases and create happy, healthy, abundant, purposed-filled living for themselves, their families, humanity and our planet.  

  • Make a materially positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals, society and our planet by creating and providing one unified, objective source of information and a safe space for collaborative knowledge sharing, learning, and innovation. 

At the same time, our content is produced considering the following limitations: 

  • Our content is for informational purposes only. KnoWEwell does not provide medical advice and nothing on the platform is intended to be a substitute for professional medical, health, wellness or healing advice, diagnosis, or treatment.  

  • KnoWEwell does not recommend or endorse any specific tests, therapies, practices, providers, enterprises, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be the subject of our content.   Further, sponsor content on the platform is for informational and/or educational purposes, not promotional purposes. 

  • We do not produce or publish content that is in any way offensive, abusive, libelous, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar, pornographic, unethical, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate.  

  • We do not produce or publish content or use the platform to express political views or actions. 

Content Types

KnoWEwell’s content falls into two main categories: Knowledge and Healing Success Stories.

KnoWEwell publishes original content produced by its own staff writers or contract writers, content submitted by credentialed providers, professors, researchers, experts and content sponsors, and purchased content. The various content types published include: 

  1. Original articles, white papers, videos, audios and book reviews produced by KnoWEwell staff writers or contract writers  

  1. Curated, consumer-friendly abstracts from scientific, medical and professional periodicals and other published research, whitepapers, book reviews and articles produced by KnoWEwell staff writers or contract writers 

  1. Copyrighted content (or extensive excerpts of the content) with the permission (i.e., copyright release) of the owner of such content 

  1. Purchased content that KnoWEwell has obtained and publishes pursuant to an agreement with the entity or individual that originated or owns the content 

Publishing Process

KnoWEwell's editorial and publishing process varies based on the type of content being published. It includes internal editoria reviewers and credentialed peer reviewers with expertise in their field to evaluate the content for scientific accuracy, novelty, and importance.   

The peer review process works to improve credibility, objectivity and balance while preventing overstated results from reaching our members. Each published KnoWEwell article and other content benefits from the work by editors, illustrators, proofreaders, and production personnel, who work to ensure that content meets specific standards. 

Submit Content for Publication

KnoWEwell publishes content obtained or purchased from third parties on topics that are mission-aligned, evidence-based, and scientific that come from credible sources.  Credentialed providers, professors, researchers, experts and content sponsors may submit white papers, articles, videos and audios for review and to be considered for publication in KnoWEwell Community Topic Groups or News center. 

When submitting content, authors must include all financial disclosures and conflicts of interest.

Authors with questions about the suitability of proposed content for KnoWEwell Community Topic Groups or the News center, send an email to Publishing@KnoWEwell.com with the following information: 

  • Name, Company/Institution, Phone, Email 

  • Question for the Editor (limit 250 words) 

  • Summary of the Content (limit 250 words) 

A KnoWEwell editor will respond by email within five (5) business days.
