Collective Liberation Frameworks: Money, Reciprocity & Flow of Resources

Join us September 9th, 11-1PM PST for our next session of the seasonal learning series, Collective Liberation Frameworks: Working with Cross Cultural Protocols.

This will be part learning session, part focus group, as together we ask what it means to act with consciousness and transparency around the exchange of money - the flow of resources - in our work. 

Many issues exist around the commodification of spiritual traditions and cultural symbols of indigenous and diasporic peoples. What does it mean to ask for money in exchange for culturally rooted community offerings? The CCP grapples with such questions, while supporting practitioners to have sustainable means as they assist communities and pursue right livelihood in these transition times. 

Join us as we tease apart questions of money, exchange, reciprocity and the flow of resources as a community of cultural stewards and space-holders.  

These are complex questions that merit slowed-down inquiry.  We are blessed to have three facilitators join us to unpack these big questions: Darcy Ottey & Shay Sloan Clarke of Nourishing Futures, alongside CCP core facilitator Sobey Wing.
